Thousands of Competitors Vie for the Title of National Champion!

December 22, 2015 - The top dogs from across the country and around the world returned to Orlando, Florida this December 12 and 13, 2015 for the 15th annual AKC/Eukanuba National Championship. Local resident, Vicki Tidball and GrCh SisCo-WildSide’s Legally Blonde “Jazzy” were among the 4,670 contenders at this prestigious event.

Like other hardworking athletes, dogs at AKC shows must face several levels of competition before reaching the top, beginning with competition in their Breed class, then moving on to Group and Best in Show. Vicki and Jazzy competed in the Best of Breed Class.

In addition to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, Vicki and Jazzy also competed in the AKC National Owner-Handled Series Finals on December 11. Jazzy finished the 2015 year in the Owner Handled series as the #2 Owner Handled Great Dane overall and the #1 Owner Handled Female Great Dane in the Nation. She was awarded Best of Opposite Sex in the Finals.
