Red Carpet Country selects new officers for 2015-16, announces Tourism Conference

Perry, Okla., July 22, 2015 – Red Carpet Country, the official destination marketing organization for Northwest and North-Central Oklahoma, elected new officers at its monthly board meeting Tuesday, July 21 in Perry.

Red Carpet Country is one of six regional tourism organizations in Oklahoma as divided by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, representing 16 counties in the Northwest and North-Central part of the state. The association is the leading source of travel information for this distinct region of Oklahoma boasting friendly communities, unique events and abundant natural resources.

Andi Holland, Enid, was elected President. Sarah Wolfington, Woodward, was named President-Elect. Marcy Jarrett, Enid, will be Vice President. JaNae Barnard, Fairview, was named Secretary/Treasurer while Jeannie Cole, Waynoka, is the organization’s Past President.

Sherri Feely, Okeene, is the new Sales and Marketing Associate. Her duties include promoting the tourism aspects of Red Carpet Country through the marketing and sales of memberships, advertising opportunities through the RCC Visitor Guide, website and other state publications, staffing trade shows, booths and meeting presentations.
