In 2015, the Enid High School Ski Team achieved the impossible by becoming the first high school level competitive snow ski team in Oklahoma. Despite Oklahoma's lack of mountains and snow...they created a well coordinated and planned cooperation with the OKC Ski Club (http://www.okcskiclub.org) and the FSA (http://flatlandskiassociation.wordpress.com/history/) to allow them into the competitive yet friendly ski tournaments held annually in Colorado.

The Enid High School Ski Team surprised everyone when they won 2nd place in the Flatland Ski Association tournament in 2015, reaching well beyond their, and the communities, expectations.
-
The mission of the Ski Team is to grant students the ability to experience new sports and activities typically unavailable in this region. By creating the ski team, students can now experience a sport that few people have the opportunity to enjoy, and perhaps, open a new realm of possibilities for themselves.
