ENID, OK - Enid Event Company is hosting several different events this summer to keep Enid residents entertained.

Registration for the citywide game of Tag is open from June 1 through June 30. The game is open to anyone over 16 and runs from July 8 through July 28. Participants are each given a target to tag. Once they have tagged them, the tagged party hands over their target to the tagger and the tagger continues. The game continues until there is only one person left in the game. It is $20 to play.

The Drunk Spelling Bee starts Wednesday, June 5th at The Spot at 417 N. Grand and will occur on Wednesdays throughout the summer. Registration opens at 7:30pm and spelling starts at 8:30pm. It is $10 to participate which includes the first beer. The winner gets their bee tab paid along with their entry fee for the next week to defend their title. Participants should have designated drivers or use Lyft or Uber.

A Midsummer Faire medieval fair takes place June 29 an 30 at Government Springs Park from 10am to 6pm Saturday and noon to 6pm Sunday. It is free to attend and there will be food, vendors, medieval combat demonstrations, and more. Each evening at 8pm, there will be a production of Gaslight Theatre's free Shakespeare in the Park, A Midsummer Night's Dream.
