Public parking for all Enid Event Center events will be on the south side of the building. Entry to the building for the Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be through the southwest entrance.
The Enid Event Center is a full service, multi-purpose venue serving the region with a diverse set of events that will include concerts, sporting events, family shows, consumer shows, and everything in between! A completely flexible space allows Enid Event Center to have seating capacities up to 4,000 or a 31,500 square foot floor.
Entrances to the Enid Event Center are located on the southeast corner, southwest corner and northeast corner of the building. All guests must enter the venue for an event through one of these entrances. There is also a breezeway at the northwest corner of Enid Event Center that connects the venue with Convention Hall. Accessibility to Enid Event Center through Convention Hall will be determined per event.
The Guest Services Center, offering assistance and information for all guests, is located at the southeast corner of the main concourse to Enid Event Center. Event staff members have been specially trained to assist all types of guest inquiries, security issues, ticket issues, problems, lost children, and lost-and-found articles. In addition, the Guest Services Center can provide patrons with disability assistance, by providing wheelchairs and hearing assistance devices. For your convenience, the Guest Services Center is open during all events.
The center also has two loading docks, four locker rooms and a green room on the north end. Inside on the south end there are three VIP suites that overlook the entry in downtown Enid. The suites are currently occupied by Jenkins & Price, Johnston Enterprises and Global Spectrum.
Enid Event Center recognizes the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Enid Event Center exceeds city, state, and federal accessibility regulations to provide easy access for all guests. Convenient drop-off and pick-up areas for guests, taxis and limousines are located along Grand Avenue.
All catering and concessions will be done in-house. There are permanent concessions areas on the west, south and east concourse available to arena patrons. Enid Event Center will carry a number of local, regional and national branded concession items.
Enid Event Center and Convention Hall will soon be surrounded by 1,400 free City of Enid parking spaces accessible from Independence Ave. and from Grand Ave.
The Enid Public Schools Board of Education has agreed to a $32,000-per-year deal with the city of Enid that will allow the Plainsmen and Pacers to finally have a home at the new Enid Event Center.
