ENID, OK - Enid Day at the Capitol will be held on Tuesday, February 25th in Room 511 at the Capitol. Legislators, state agency officials, and staff will attend the breakfast from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.

Krista Roberts, Enid Chamber Chairman of the Board, said “Enid Day at the Capitol is a great opportunity for members of our community to meet face to face with our legislators to discuss topics of importance to residents of greater Enid. By having a scheduled, formal setting with our legislators it gives us a chance to hear what their priorities for the upcoming session will be as well as discuss any concerns or issues that impact our city and region. Please join us if you can.”

Chamber President Jon Blankenship said Enid always has a large local group that participates and the event is well attended by legislators and state agency officials. He said the current Leadership Greater Enid class will be attending the event again this year. “We always appreciate having the LGE Class involved. Our local legislators are also very supportive and they help host the event,” said Blankenship.

“Enid Day at the Capitol provides citizens and business leaders a great opportunity to get in front of our legislators to present and discuss issues important to Enid and Northwest Oklahoma,” said Jason Turnbow, Enid Chamber State Government Chairman. “Make plans to join us for an informative session and let’s have a strong showing for Enid!”
