Bam! We've got an even newer logo since our last new logo!! LOL! But this is it! It's time to get serious about the little media company of ours and we're ready to launch our new logo, some other new social media pages, t-shirts, window stickers (coming soon) and more!!
Seth Godin had a blog post recently in which he was describing how just about everyone is in the media now. Those of us that have published something online know what it is to create and spread ideas and information. Most online publishers do not become media companies while others, like Enid Buzz, seek to maximize attention and create profit. Although we make media because media makes money, what we do does personally matter to us. So, in a sense, we've become Enid Buzz Media - More Personal, Unpredictable and Interesting! Our hope is that we'll earn attention, connection and trust, which in turn will earn us a living.
Our new logo, designed by Shaggy Duck Media & Design, includes the words Eat, Arts, Acts and Jams. We want to emphasize the fact that we are not a media news source, we are a media information source. We provide what you are searching for, especially when related to dining, artwork, productions and live music. We've become the #1 source in Enid for up to the minute entertainment information
The new logo will not only aid in our branding but will now allow us to create merchandise that we can turn a profit on to pay the bills around this joint. It also helps spread the name of our groovy little town as we all travel around the world. Wouldn't it be fun to arrive at Disney World and see another BuzzHead sporting and Enid Buzz t-shirt?
In conjunction with our new logo we are unveiling the new Enid Buzz Instagram page. If you don't have the Instagram app on your phone you should grab it and start following us. We'll be posting snaphots from around town as they happen. Most of the photos currently on our page are no older than the existence of the iPhone. We'll continue to provide vintage photos and higher quality pictures on EnidBuzz.com but we'll be using Instagram for quick, on the spot pics. Visit our Enid Buzz Instagram Page now.
We've also updated our Enid Buzz Twitter Page!! Hop on over there and start following our wackier antics. We're more apt to be unpredictable on our Twitter Feed than any of our other media sites.
And here they are!! Our inaugural Enid Buzz t-shirts!! We've teamed with the local company, Privation Printing, to provide a single color design on three different T's. We are currently taking pre-orders to get a feel for which colors and sizes will be the most popular. If you purchase your shirt during this pre-order period you'll save a few bucks plus you'll be on our "most favorite list" which could entitle you to a surprise in the not to distant future! We are hoping our merchandising sales will help us stay profitable, which will allow us to spend more time updating you with information, photos and fun. With that said we are going to price our t-shirts at $20 regular price. If you will pre-order during our reduced pricing period (ends March 22) the cost is $17 a shirt. Our current sizes range from small to x-large. We have used the Tultex 65 Poly, 35 Cotton lightweight shirt making this one of the softest shirts around! Fashion fit heather style with a side seamed.
Shirts can be dropped off or picked up at our studio if you are purchasing locally. We will also ship shirts in the US for the cost of shipping. If you'd like international shipping please contact us at buzz@enidbuzz.com.
