Funeral services for Ellen Nina Willson will be held10:00am, Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev Wilbur Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receiver friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6pm-7pm. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Ellen was born October 26, 1946 in Enid to Rolland and Pearl (Kelly) Swanson, and passed away February 2, 2023. She graduated from Enid High School in 1965. Ellen married Thomas Willson on March 13, 1965 in Enid. Ellen had a 37-year career at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in the Housekeeping department. Ellen was devoted to the Lord, and her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Thomas Willson; daughter, Tricia Sampson and husband Curtis; son, Mark Willson and wife Melanie; grandchildren, Samantha James and husband Jay, Sara Moerer and husband Sean, Olivia Willson; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Johnny Swanson, Glenn Swanson; sister, Dorothy Packard; great granddaughter, Zoey Moerer.
Memorial donations may be made to Hennessey Manor Nursing Home with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
