Funeral service for Eleanor Smith, 83, of Enid, will be at 2:00 PM Monday, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the AB Circle of Life Event Center. Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in Elgin, Oklahoma.
Eleanor was born November 24, 1933, in Anthony, Kansas to Lee L. and Pearlee Elizabeth (Hull) Corderman, and passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, in Enid.
Eleanor was a member of Sodhouse Guild, Imo Neighbors HCE, Enid Quilters Guild, Compassionate Quilters, and Past President of Garfield County HCE.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Vanessa (Michael) Seifert of Falls Church, Virginia, Earl (Susan) Smith of Enid, Lou Ann (Charles) Blank of Norwalk, Ohio, and Brenda Atchley of Katy, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a sister Norma Sevier of Harper, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Morton, and 2 brothers Richard and Kenneth Corderman.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Home Community Education Scholarship Fund (OSU Extension Office).
