Funeral services for Eldon Eugene Crabtree, 67, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 p,m. On Monday, October 14, 2024 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Billy Benson officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Military Honors will be conducted by the Silver Talon Honor Guard stationed at Vance Air Force Base.
Eldon was born on November 24, 1956 in Enid, the son of James Arthur Crabtree and Carol Jean Darling Crabtree, and passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at his residence. He graduated from Goldboro High School in Goldboro, North Carolina. Eldon attended Junior College in Gainsville, Texas. Eldon served in the United States Air Force. Eldon received an aircraft course at Autry, later working at Egress at Vance Air Force Base as aircraft Mechanic. For the last 12 years, Eldon worked as a cross country truck driver. Survivors include Eldon’s parents Jim and Carol of the residence; brothers, Randall Crabtree of Enid, Gregory and wife Roberta McCormick of Enid. His son, James Earl Crabtree. Eldon was preceded in passing by his sister, Debra.
