Earl Dean Rose

5833645966e42Earl Dean Rose was called home to the lord on November 14th 2016. He passed away in Wellington, Kansas, he was 82 years old.

Born on February 23rd 1934 in Witchita, Kansas to father Charles Rose and mother Cora Lantz. He grew up in Witchita, Kansas along with his four brothers Harold, Clarence, Donald, and Charles also his three sisters JoAnn, Harriet and Aileen. He graduated from North High School in Witchita, KS. He wed his wife Phyllis on August 26th 1955 in Witchita, KS, the two were wed for 55 years. Earl loved truck driving and even retired as a truck driver, he was also apart of the United States Navy for 3 months. Earl loved playing bluegrass music with his guitar, also he enjoyed playing his keyboard. He also enjoyed listening to his book tapes, going golfing with his sons, coon hunting, building model airplanes, also spending time with his family and friends. Earl and his wife Phyllis even loved to travel in their RV. He was a big fan of sports he especially loved The Kansas City Chiefs.

Earl is survived by his four children Steven Rose along with his wife Alice Rose from Lawton Ok, Linda Dawson along with her husband Gerald Dawson, from Wellington, Ks Donna Cales along with her husband Steve Cales from Ponca City, Ok David Rose along with his wife Rose Rose from Ponca City, Ok. He is also survived by his brother Charles Rose who resides in California. He is also survived by his grandchildren Stephen Rose, Stephanie Ortega, Jenny Pinion and her husband Greg Horinek, Darin Pinion ad his wife Becca, Matthew Rose, Sarah Rose, Chase Cales and Casey Cales. Earl is also survived by his four step grandchildren Danny, Devin, Dustin and Derek Dawson and their families and his sixteen great grandchildren also his two great great grandchildren.

Earl is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, parents Charles and Cora, also his brothers Harold, Clarence, and Donald. Also along with his sisters Harriet, Aileen and JoAnn. Earl was a great father, brother, friend, uncle, son, and grandfather. He is going to be greatly missed.

Services are to be for next Monday November 28th 2016, it is going to be a private family graveside service. Amy Stittsworth Funeral Services.
