December 21, 1931 - October 22, 2020
Donald Keith Staley was born December 21, 1931 in Bunker Hill, Kansas to Vern Milo and Lillie (Messimer) Staley and passed away October 22, 2020 in Enid.
He was born on the homestead and raised in Russell, Kansas. In 1950, Donald entered the United States Air Force where he was part of the Strategic Air Command and worked in communications as air ground control.
On January 30, 1953, Donald married Jeannette Keener in Russell, Kansas. They moved to Enid in 1987 before permanently making it their home in 1994. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2001.
Donald had many trades over the years such as being a barber in Nebraska for a two years and a salesperson for Rainbo Bread, where he worked his way up to sales manager before retiring. Even after his retirement, he continued being a people person and started his own cleaning business, Service Master.
Donald’s pastimes included painting houses, yardwork, growing sunflowers and riding horses. He loved to sing and dance, with anyone and to any kind of music. His favorite enjoyment, however, was always his family.

Donald is survived by his children, Nathan Vern Staley; Keith Allen Staley; Lillian Kay Parks; Holly Marie Harrison; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
