Funeral service for Bud Nagel, 97 of Garber, will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:30 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Gilliland officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 pm in Garber Cemetery.
Bud was born on June 7, 1927 in Newkirk, Oklahoma to Albert Joseph and Martha (Matussak) Nagel and died on June 16, 2024 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He grew up in Billings and attended Mount Victory School. Bud worked many jobs including a painter for Cessna and Boeing, a farmer in Billings and later had a dozer business. He then started Nagel & Son Construction and retired as a truck driver.
Bud was preceded in death his two wives, Edith Nagel and Freida Nagel; parents; daughter, Lori Carter; son, Donnie Nagel; four sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by two sons and their wives, Darrin and Natalie Nagel and Deven and Angie Nagel, all of Garber; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; fur baby, Lucky; other relatives and friends.
