He was born to Thurman Julius “TJ” Barker and Zeda Beatrice Price on December 3, 1957 in Clinton, Ok and went to his heavenly home on August 8, 2017 at his home in Ark city, Kansas.

He was raised and Educated in Clinton, OK until 1962 when he moved to Enid and enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged and returned to Enid and worked in general construction and later rough necked with his brother Charley until the oil bust of the 1980’s. He then returned to general labor until 2016.

He is survived by his mother, his children, his brothers, Charles Barker, of California; Carl Gene Barker, of Enid; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.
