The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Domingo Lozano, 79, of Enid, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be held privately. Complete cremation care under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Domingo was born November 25, 1943, to Domingo Lozano Sr. and Trinidad Trevino Lozano in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed from this life April 2, 2023 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Corpus Christi. He moved to Rocky Ford, Colorado at the age of eighteen and worked in construction where he met and married his wife Ida Romero on July 8, 1961. The couple moved back to Corpus Christi to be near family and then following his career in Road Construction the family moved to Cushing, Oklahoma where they raised their five children. They later moved to Albuquerque and retired. He enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets where he would buy things to flip and make a great profit. Near the end of his life He loved spending time with his family, cookouts, playing cards and long neck Budweiser and going to the casino and horse races, but above all he loved his family.
He is survived by his children Johnny Lozano and wife Liz, of Fairhope, Alabama, Lilly Lozano, of Enid, Jessie Lozano and wife Burlina, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and Anita Ybarra and husband Pete, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ida Lozano; one son Jose Lozano; and siblings, John, Mike, and Adela.
