January 25, 2018 ENID, OK — The DENNY PRICE FAMILY YMCA has launched its annual campaign to ensure that everyone in the community has access to vital programs and resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
-
Every day, the Denny Price Family YMCA works to support the people and neighborhoods that need it most by addressing community issues, such as childhood obesity, chronic diseases and affordable childcare.

“Throughout Enid, countless people know the Y. But there’s so much more to the Y than one might think,” said Kim Boeckman, Public Relations Director of the Denny Price Family YMCA. “As a cause-driven charitable organization, the Y is dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, improving the nation’s health and well being, and giving back and providing support to our neighbors. We constantly strive to expand our horizons and discover new and better ways to meet the changing and growing needs of our community.”
-
Last year, more than $360,000 in program support, scholarship assistance, and community collaborations made it possible for more than 19,000 children, individuals and families to learn, grow and thrive. The Y provided a safe place for children to learn and build confidence after school, a place for families to reconnect and grow together and programs to build healthy spirit mind and body for all.
-
This year, the Denny Price Family YMCA hopes to raise $270,000. Funds raised will provide financial assistance in membership, childcare, youth sports, water safety and swim lessons, chronic disease, and other community programs for those who could not otherwise afford to participate.
