A Memorial Service for Dennis Hatfield, age 59, of Enid, will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Flynn officiating.
Dennis was born on July 9, 1957, in Enid, and was adopted by Thomas and Marcella Marie (Sweetwood) Hatfield. He passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, in Enid. Dennis grew up in Enid, where he attended school. He worked at NORCE for 28 years, taking early retirement due to poor health. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Dennis enjoyed watching NASCAR, and his hobby was making things out of match sticks.
He is survived by his mother Marcella “Sally” Hatfield, of Enid; uncle Leland Sweetwood and wife Nancy of Arkansas City, KS, aunt Glenda Sweetwood of Enid; and several cousins.
