Delbert A. Sanders was born on December 17, 1937 at Helena and died on December 20, 2020 in Enid.
He grew up on the family ranch and graduated from Goltry High School. On June 25, 1958, Delbert married Marian Acree in Goltry and they made their home on the family ranch.
He was a cowboy, who enjoyed the cowboy life. Delbert was a horse trainer for many years. The family had a dairy and had a delivery route in Goltry. Delbert was a hard worker and enjoyed taking care of his cattle everyday.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Delbert is survived by his wife, Marian of the home; children, Rowdy and wife, Valarie Sanders of Enid, and Roxann and husband, Steve Mason of Drummond; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Loretta Ramsey of Bartlesville.
A celebration of his life will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.
