Debra Ruth Cooper, 58, Blackwell resident, was born on February 2, 1958 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Andrew Marion and Ruth Hoppin Gregurich, and passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016 at her residence.
Debra was raised in Pawnee, Illinois, where she graduated from Pawnee High School with the class of 1976. She was a member of Zenobia Baptist Church in rural Pawnee, Illinois. She lived in Paonia, Colorado for two years before moving to Blackwell where she made her home. Debra married James Marvin Cooper in Blackwell on August 25, 1984. He preceded her in passing on June 2, 1991. Debra was a homemaker and was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jack Sharp of the residence; daughter, Kendra Cooper of Blackwell; sons, Marvin Cooper of Blackwell, Shaun Alexander of Blackwell, Shane Alexander of Tonkawa; 14 Grandchildren; Brothers, Bob Gregurich (Rachel) of Evansville, Indiana and Bill Gregurich (Aleda) of Auburn, Illinois .
