Debra was born on October 9, 1959 in Enid, Oklahoma to Barton and Thelma Agan Payne and died on January 27, 2018 in Olathe, Kansas.

She grew up north of Enid and graduated from Chisholm High School in 1977. On September 28, 1979, Debra married Grover Martin in Clinton, Oklahoma and they made their home in Enid. They moved to Kansas in 1988. Debra was a rural mail carrier. She loved fishing, making quilts for her family and friends, and gardening.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers, Jerry and Jimmy.

She is survived by her husband, Grover of the home; father, Barton Payne and sister, Diana Payne Cummings, both of Enid, two stepdaughters, Sueann and Irene; two step grandchildren; niece, Dana Carter and nephew, Donnie Payne, both of Enid.
