The funeral for Debra Iona Ragan, age 66, will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday February 23, 2022, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverand Lester Lowry officiating. Burial will be in the Hennessey Cemetery.
Debra was born on May 10, 1955 in Charleston, SC to her parents Ted P. Rogers, and mother Peggy A. Choate. She passed away on February 17, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was in healthcare as an LPN for a good part of her life. She married Richard Ragan and they had two children together. They had a son, Richard Ragan II., and a daughter Amy Dawn Ragan.
Debra loved animals of all kinds and loved caring for others. She spent her spare time crafting and reading her bible.
Debra is survived by her husband Richard, son, Richard the II, 2 grandchildren and number three on the way, brother, Rick Reimer and a sister Sherry Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amy and a brother Ted Rogers.
