Daisy A. Johns of 1508 S. Baker, Enid, Oklahoma, passed Thursday April 29, 2021, in her home. She has arrived in heaven to be greeted by her many loved ones who have gone before her.
Daisy’s memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2021 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Located at 601 W. Broadway Ave., Enid, Oklahoma. The grave side service will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery, 6405 Memorial Dr, Enid.
Daisy Henry was born January 3, 1941, to J.V. Henry and Sarah Anis Henry. Daisy married Harvey W. Johns in 1956, they were married until his passing in May 2006. They are both survived by their 3 daughters, Chris Ann Johns, Susan Faye Strutz, and Debbie Lynn Haynes. Their surviving grandchildren are Jeremy B. Johns of Ponca City, Cory W. Johns of Blackwell, Sadie Strutz of Lawton, KaAliyah Haynes of Midwest City, Bryann and Derek Martinez of Enid. Five great-greatgrandchildren. Daisy is also survived by one sister Betty Slaten of Roff, Oklahoma, and one brother Frank Henry of Kremlin.
Daisy was a member of a ladies quilting group, she loved helping with the quilting and giving the quilts to local charities. Daisy always enjoyed fishing and playing cards with friends and family. Daisy will be missed by those who knew her.
Hospice Chaplin Gary Miller will be presiding over the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the funeral home.
