ENID, Okla. - No longer do you need to drive to Italy to get great Italian gelato! Da Vinci’s new Gelateria recipes find their origins from Reggio Emilia, Italy, created over 50 years ago. Da Vinci's Coffeehouse is now carrying on the tradition by building on these same recipes while customizing their gelato with unique flavors to each batch.
-
Partners Nick and Maggie Jackson along with David and Carrissa King have owned Da Vinci's together since May of 2014. Da Vinci’s was founded in 2003. They use the hot and cold process which makes their product so good.
-
Da Vinci's recently renovated their coffeehouse in the Willow Plaza Shopping Center. Part of the remodel has included a revised logo, sign and new theme, "Every Cup A Masterpiece." The introduction of gelato and new craft coffees were a big part of the reopening.

All of Da Vinci's Gelateria products are made in-house with only the best ingredients. Their gelatos have about 3 times less air than most ice creams. This makes the portion size smaller. They give you less fluff and more of the good stuff in each cup! That's what makes the texture dense and the flavor intense! It is recommended that gelato is best eaten in store, as it is freshly made and held and served at the correct temperature. Gelato is served daily at 11:00am.

Gelato is different than ice cream in many ways including the fact that it is a healthier choice. It has a 6% fat content while ice cream has 25% fat. Gelato consists of more milk but less heavy cream and egg yolks which gives it less fat. Less air in the mixture also makes it denser, creamier, smoother and have a silkier texture than ice cream. That's why gelato can be served in smaller containers and deliver a more flavorful impact than ice cream. Ask about the sorbetto options, which are dairy-free.
-
Da Vinci's carries out the painter and masterpiece theme by featuring local artists! They have a wall dedicated to displaying art and photography. Stop by and talk to them if you'd like to exhibit your art. Or simply drop by on a regular basis to see fantastic art and photography while enjoying a drink or snack.
-
If you're looking for a cozy place to gather, study or work, Da Vinci’s is Enid’s original coffeehouse and gelateria that starts your day warmly and ends your day with a treat and a smile. They are a creative community, passionate about their craft and their people.
-
Several local businesses have helped Da Vinci's make their grand re-opening a success including Jumbo Foods, Royal Signs, Downtown Threads, Oklahoma Wallpaper and Glass, Lyle’s Body Shop, Stanley’s Wrecker, and others.
