The Tour de Trykes Criterium is a bicycle race on a closed course where United States Cycling Association licensed riders compete for cash prizes. The courses are about .08 miles long with riders reaching 30-35 miles per hour. The races are very exciting and usually draw a great, young at heart and excited crowd. The date of the criterium has been moved from August to April 21, 2018 starting at 9am.

Enid Noon AMBUCS started Tour de Trykes – an over-the-road bicycle ride – in 2006 and added the Twilight Criterium in 2011. The Criterium has become a fan favorite as people line the streets watching the riders race at speeds reaching 30-35 miles per hour.

The figure-8 course starts and ends on Randolph near the courthouse lawn gazebo and runs west to Independence, south to Broadway, east to Grand, south to Maine, east to South Second St., north up the hill to Broadway, west to Grand, north to Randolph then west to the start-finish line.
-
Roads in the downtown area near the course will be blocked for the day, so motorists are asked to use caution when approaching downtown.

Thank you Enid for an awesome day of cycling and racing. Your hospitality and town was more than welcoming and beautiful. Thank you, from all of us at Bixby Bicycle Works in Bixby Oklahoma.
Thanks for the comments! Hopefully they’ll bring this back next year with a little cooler temps and we’ll get more crowds out to watch.
