It's a delicious time of year!
Everyone loves Girl Scout cookies! And yet what could make a Girl Scout cookie even better? How about a mouth watering dessert created from one of your favorite Girl Scout cookies?
Chefs from local Enid restaurants and bakeries will soon be busy concocting original desserts made from these fine little baked gems! Area chef's are assigned a particular Girl Scout cookie and they are challenged with creating a unique dessert using that cookie and their own imaginations!
These sweet cookie creations are then available for the public to view and sample, all in one glorious evening of Girl Scout cookie heaven. Mark your calendars for January 27 from 5:30 to 7:00pm for this fun event at Central Christian Church.
This will be their 5th year to have this tasty event in Enid. Local restaurants, caterers and bakers use the Girl Scout cookies in some of the most unique food creations. The event was originally created to raise awareness about and support for Girl Scouts.
The mission of Girl Scouts is to ‘build girls of courage, competence and character.' By supporting local Girl Scouts, the public is helping ensure sound leadership for the future. For information on Cookie Creations or Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, call the local Girl Scout office at 234-6400.
Tickets are on sale to the public for $5 each. A ticket holder gets a sample size portion of each delicacy. There will be 10-12 different Cookie Creations this year. The event is Monday, January 27th from 5:30 to 7:00pm at Central Christian Church, 1111 W Broadway.
