Enid Buzz is truly a community blog about Enid, Oklahoma and its citizens. We'd love to add more of those stories for others to read. If you can write up an article and send it in we'd love to read it. We can't guarantee that all article will be published but will try to publish those that relate most to our readers.

Articles that work best would be 400-800 words in length. This is a suggestion not hard and fast rule. Sending a photo would really enhance the story as well. The best photos would be 600px x 400px and 72dpi. If that sounds like jibber-jabber to you just send us what you have.

Articles & stories should fulfill at least 3 of the 6P's test:
Positive - Is the story uplifting and will it make people feel better after reading it?
Productive - Does the story answer a question, educate, inform or solve a problem?
Pointful - Is there relevance or meaning to the story in which it makes a point?
Pertinent - Does the story relate to local readers and would they understand it?
Purpose - Is there a good reason to be writing the story?
Playful - Is the story humorous and will it entertain?

Stories cannot be any one of the 5C's:
Combative - Stories should not insight negative responses.
Copied - You cannot copy the work of others, everything must be written by you.
Crass - Stories must be sensitive to the feelings of others.
Counterproductive - Stories should not produce negative feelings.
Contentious - Stories should not cause an argument.
Controversial - Do not write about subjects that cause public disagreement.
