Complimentary Seminars on Retirement Planning Topics Demonstrate Wymer Brownlee’s Commitment to Local Communities and Focus on Giving Back
-
Enid, OK, January 20, 2016 – Wymer Brownlee, the holistic financial services firm that combines tax expertise with in-depth wealth management offerings to help clients pursue their goals, today announced the launch of its Community Education Series of seminars. The series is intended to help Wymer Brownlee give back to the communities in which it serves by providing critical insights on financial planning issues to retirees and pre-retirees in these markets, commencing with a seminar on Social Security and retirement issues at Northwest Technology Center in Fairview, Oklahoma on January 25th. In total, the series will consist of four seminars to be delivered in each of several key geographical markets in Oklahoma: Enid, Fairview, Alva and Oklahoma City. All seminars will be complimentary and open to the public.
-
Kyle Brownlee, CEO of Wymer Brownlee, said, “As with so many communities across the country, residents in our markets here in Oklahoma have urgent questions about what will happen to them once their working days are over and they transition into retirement. With our complimentary Community Education Series of seminars, Wymer Brownlee will be doing our part to make sure that retirees and pre-retirees in our markets have the information they need in order to face this significant transition with confidence. These communities have done so much for us, and we look forward to giving back to them.”
-
In addition to addressing traditional financial planning questions such as how to optimize Social Security benefits, how to establish an estate plan and how to find appropriate insurance coverage, the Community Education Series will focus on the real-life personal questions that bring meaning to financial planning issues for investors and their families. These questions include how to make an impact; how to protect loved ones; and how to pass on core values to younger generations.
-
Beyond the initial seminar on Social Security and retirement, the series will also include “Leaving a Legacy and Life Insurance,” “Investments and Savings,” and “Later Life Care and Planning.” Each of the four seminars will be delivered in each of the geographic markets listed above, beginning with the initial presentation in January and continuing through May.
-
Each seminar will be presented in two sessions for each scheduled date, with the early session beginning at noon and the later session beginning at 7:00 pm. Lunch will be provided to attendees at the noon session for each seminar, with snacks and drinks served at the evening sessions. Each seminar will be led by Wymer Brownlee Senior Wealth Advisor David Morley, with other senior professionals participating as needed.
-
The initial seminar in the series will be presented in each market according to the following schedule (locations included):
-
Fairview: January 25 at Northwest Technology Center, 801 Vo-Tech Drive, Room B
-
Alva: February 1 at the Runnymede Hotel, 402 4th St.

David Morley concluded, “In everything we do, Wymer Brownlee strives to demonstrate our commitment to helping our clients live meaningful, purposeful and rewarding lives. We do this not simply by addressing investors’ financial concerns, but by truly listening to and understanding their aspirations, challenges and values. With our Community Education Series, we will be helping members of the communities we serve to think through crucial technical questions including how to best utilize qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, how to determine the best vehicle for passing on assets to heirs, and many others. More importantly, we will be helping them plan to meet the real-life challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for each of them.”
