Enid, OK –INTEGRIS will once again be offering free flu shots at its annual health fair on Saturday, October 28, at the Central National Bank Center Convention Hall. In its 11th year, the community health fair is an event put on with funds provided by the INTEGRIS Foundation and is free of charge to all attendees. Staffing at the event is provided by INTEGRIS Bass employees and community partners who volunteer their time.
-
In addition to free flu shots for all ages, while supplies last, the fair will also include free health screenings, hearing and vision screenings, and 48 health vendor booths. There will be physician education seminars throughout the morning and attendees will have the opportunity to schedule some of their annual screenings including mammograms.
-
“It is the mission of INTEGRIS to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Teresa Dunham, RN, Community Health Educator. “Through this event we will typically provide over 500 free flu shots and health screenings in hopes of accomplishing that mission.”

Being the citizen journalist that I am, I attended the event last year to grab a few photos and interview some doctors about the new DaVinci Robot. Dan Smith, pictured above, was on hand with KOFM covering the event live. He was kind enough to follow me around and snapped the photos of me getting my a few unexpected shots.
