ENID, Okla. - The annual dual Miss Northern Oklahoma College Enid-Miss Northern Oklahoma College Tonkawa- Scholarship Pageant is set for Tuesday, Oct. 18, according to pageant director Terri Sunderland.

Five Miss NOC Enid contestants and six contenders for the Tonkawa title will parade on stage in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center at NOC Tonkawa, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Miss Oklahoma 2016 Sarah Klein will speak and will perform during the evening. Admission to the pageant is free.

Miss NOC Enid contestants include Tarren Land and Lexi Neahring, both of Enid; Brittney Buckendorf, Garber; Shelby Fitzer, Purcell and Chyan Houston, Duncan.

Miss NOC Enid 2017 will receive a $1000 scholarship expense award and various gifts, including a Miss America Crown and Pin and a 16”x20” portrait. She will represent the campus in the Miss Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant in Tulsa next June.

Scholarship expense awards in the amounts of $600 and $400 will go to the first and second runners-up respectively, and each non-finalist will receive a $250 tuition waiver participation award.
Edward Dixon, NOC fine arts faculty, will act as master of ceremonies for the pageant.
