September 2, 1959 - June 3, 2021
Cleveland Earl “Cleve” Claborn was born on September 2, 1959 in Anadarko, OK to Hershel Jack and Lorene Beard Claborn of Apache, OK. He passed away in Enid, OK on June 3, 2021 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Cleve attended school at Apache Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1978. He participated in football, basketball, baseball and track and was a member of FFA and a class officer. Cleve also attended Caddo Kiowa Technology Center while in high school.
Cleve worked in many different positions in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma and Texas. Cleve dearly loved his grandchildren and enjoyed their visits very much. He truly was a kid at heart himself.
Cleve is survived by his loving girlfriend Dawn Florence Domebo of Enid, OK; two daughters, Reshelle Claborn of Hopewell, Virginia and Abrey Fowler of Apache, OK; two grandchildren, Jordan Claborn and Bailey Claborn, both of Hopewell, Virginia, two brothers, Jack Claborn and Rodney Claborn and wife Kathe, all of Apache, OK; four nephews and two nieces. Cleve had a special relationship with his many cousins in the Claborn and Beard family. He wanted to thank his cousin, Sherry Kunze, for the special kindness she showed him in the final months of his illness.
Cleve was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Willard Claborn and Richard Claborn.
