Summer Chautauqua is looking to lure the younger generation into participating in these free historical programs. There has been a special emphasis this year to bring subjects that would peak the interest of those attending middle school through high school. Please encourage your kids to attend these fun and free events.

The featured characters for the younger crowd are author John Steinbeck and famed Oklahoma musician Woody Guthrie. The scholars travel to Oklahoma from across the country from Arizona to New York. They spend years researching and perfecting their portrayals.
