Attending the press conference will be CNB Center General Manager Kevin Boryczki, Enid Mayor Bill Shewey, City Manager Jerald Gilbert, CIF Commissioner Ricky Bertz, Local Team owner Craig Tirey and GM/coach of the Enid team Richard Davis.

The Champions Indoor Football League is currently playing in it’s 4th season, and now consists of 12 teams making it still the largest professional indoor football league in the United States.

The CIF officially introduced their first new member team for 2019 season with the return of a familiar opponent, the West Michigan Ironmen. They also stated that they were speaking with several other expansion franchises.

Indoor fields are 50 yards long by 28 yards wide with endzones eight yards deep, surrounded by four feet high padded walls or dasher boards. Eight players from each team are on the field at one time. No punting is allowed. The offense must either attempt to convert the fourth down or kick a field goal.
