The Mass of Christian Burial Celebrating and Honoring the life of Cathy Conrady will be held 9:00 A.M. Friday May 29, 2020 in the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Cemetery, Clyde, OK. at 11:30 A.M. (Social Distancing rules will have to be obeyed). Viewing and open visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday May 28, 2020 in the Brown Cummings Funeral Home.

Cathy Suzanne Conrady (Webster) was born February 24, 1950 to Leroy and Dody Webster in Cherokee, OK , and passed from this life on May 25, 2020 after a very short battle with cancer. Cathy grew up on the family farm in Chester, Ok and went to school in Seiling where she graduated in 1968. She attended NWOSU from 1968-1971 graduating with teaching degrees in Home Economics, Elementary Education and later Early Childhood Development. After dating the love of her life for 4 years, and 243 dates, she married Larry Conrady on August 4, 1972, and made their home in Covington. After moving to Wakita, where they continued to teach and farm, Cathy and Larry had two sons, Douglas Laurence and Brent Lee. In 1984, the family moved to Enid, where Cathy continued to teach at Drummond Public Schools until she retired in 2015.

Cathy enjoyed volunteering at the Wakita CHC and St.Mary’s Hospital, and for Relay for Life. She loved to help people any way that she could and would give her time freely. Cathy loved to sew and had numerous hobbies, but her favorite was china painting with her close friends. Cathy was a world traveler, and enjoyed taking family trips with her kids and/or her sister. She could grow any type of plant. The highlights of her life were her grandkids, and bringing them Grammy gifts every chance she got, but especially at birthdays and Christmas.

Cathy is survived by her husband Larry, of the home. Sister Gayla and husband Leroy Goodman of Chester, Son Douglas and Wife Wendi of Wakita, Son Brent and Wife Cheryl of Sedgwick, KS. Grandchildren Thomas, Kelby, Kinley, and Karly, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Dody Webster. She will be greatly missed by her numerous other family members and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wakita CHC or Relay for Life with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
