SET TO PLAY IN ENID EVENT CENTER

Spectra (formally Global Spectrum) the venue managers of Enid Event Center and Convention Hall, announce GRAMMY Award winning group Casting Crowns, with special guest Lauren Daigle, are set to play in Enid Event Center in Enid, OK on Friday, October 23. Tickets priced at $25, $35, and $55 on sale now. There is a group ticket option for $30 ($35 ticket price level only) for group of 10 or more. Prolific CCM band Casting Crowns has achieved major sales milestones including one RIAA
2x multi-Platinum album, three RIAA Platinum albums, two RIAA Platinum DVDs, six RIAA Gold albums, four Gold DVDs and four RIAA Gold certified digital singles. The band currently holds the position as Billboard's top-selling act in Christian music since 2007. The group has also been honored with two American Music Awards (out of six total nominations), a GRAMMY Award for its 2005 album Lifesong, has received six GRAMMY nominations, garnered 17 GMA Dove Awards and two 2012 Billboard Music Awards (out of six total Billboard Music Award nominations). Casting Crowns' seven band members all remain active in student ministry in the Atlanta area and tour according to their local church commitments. Serving his 20th year in youth ministry, lead singer/songwriter Mark Hall maintains his role as the student pastor at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in Atlanta. Throughout its career, the band has helped with more than 70,000 child sponsorships through the group's partnership with Christian humanitarian organization, World Vision. On January 28, 2014, Casting Crowns releases its seventh studio record, THRIVE, which follows the release of its 2013 collection album, Acoustic Sessions: Volume 1.

About Lauren Daigle

In a short time, Lauren Daigle has made an impressive mark on the Christian music scene. She appeared on Jason Gray’s Christmas tour and opened for Aaron Shust on the Morning Rises trek. She sang with Hillsong at a mega church in Birmingham, an experience she’ll always treasure, and leads worship three or four Sundays a month at Atlanta’s North Point Community Church, pastored by Andy Stanley.
Blessed with a voice that is both smoky and sweet, Daigle has forged a unique sound that combines the soulful, heart-in-throat vulnerability of Adele, with the passionate fire to serve God that Daigle admires in Brooke Fraser. Her Centricity Music debut, How Can It Be, is ripe with the kind of compelling lyrics and engaging melodies that invite listeners to draw closer to their creator, and that’s just what Daigle had in mind.
