ENID, OK - Carver Early Childhood Center will host its Music Wall Ribbon Cutting Ceremony this Thursday, along with an “art experience”.
-
The events are scheduled for 5:15-7:00 p.m. at Carver ECC, 815 S. 5th Street.
-
The Music Wall was donated by Chase Haworth for the early childhood students to experience music interactively on the playground. Haworth is a member of the Boy Scouts of America chapter in Enid and created and donated the Music Wall for his Eagle Scout Project. Haworth is a freshman student at Enid High School.
-
“We are continually grateful to the Enid community for thinking about Carver students and helping them to learn,” said Chris Smith, Director of Early Childhood for Enid Public Schools. “Once again, a community member has provided another interactive way for our young learners to experience the arts.”
-
Carver ECC students also invite the community to attend The “Art” Experience beginning at 5:30 p.m. Each room at Carver ECC will have activities for children and their families to enjoy together, including paper making, painting, Native American Art, dance, drums, and more.
