The family will receive friends from 2:00 ~ 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 21st at the funeral home.
Carol was born August 5, 1957 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Roy and Ellen (Carter) White, and passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas in the presence of her loving family.
Carol was fierce and strong willed. She showed that ferocity and strength in her daily life, even more so when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. For over three years, she faced every doctor’s appointment, treatment or surgery with grace and bravery. She was passionate about her family. When her children were younger, she and Bill never missed the girls’ activities. She loved watching their sporting events, stock shows, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and fishing with Bill.
Carol was a devoted wife and mother, but her most favorite title was “Grandmother.” When she wasn’t in the stands cheering the boys on at their pig shows and ball games, she was finding new ways to spoil them. Billy Joe and Braxton kept her days full as well as her heart, especially through the last weeks of her battle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Bill Henderson, to whom she was married on May 3, 1980. Together, she and Bill have two daughters who survive them, Savannah Blankenship and husband Justin, of Siloam Springs, AR, and McKenzie Henderson, of Bartlesville, OK; two grandsons, Billy and Braxton Blankenship; three sisters, Linda Zaloudek, of Enid, OK; Sue Streich, of Wylie, TX; Sharon Geminden, of Plano, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Memorial contributions in Carol’s name may be made to Circle of Life Hospice of Springdale, Arkansas, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
