Mass of Christian Burial for Carleen B. Mack, 85 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Bison with Rev. Ed Menasco as celebrant. Burial will follow in Bison Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation with family will be at 6:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Carleen was born on September 11, 1933 in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma to Archie and Goldie Simmons and passed away on January 19, 2019 in Enid.

She graduated from Carrier High School in 1952. On December 29, 1952, Carleen married Robert G. Mack in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bison. They made their home on the family farm and had nine children. Carleen was very active in the Bison Altar Society and Women’s Surprise Club in Hennessey. She was a homemaker, a full time mom and lunchroom attendant for the Waukomis School. She was a caretaker of people in their homes. Carleen enjoyed gardening and raising chickens.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Mack; daughter, Jeannette Levell; granddaughter, Jessica Mack; two brothers, Estell and Loren Simmons.

She is survived by her children, Beverly (Bill) Annis of Stillwater, Pat Davis of Oklahoma City, Shirley (Kevin) Lynes of Yukon, Ted Mack of Bison, Eddie Mack of Enid, Teresa (Bo) Reid of Enid, and Freddie Mack of Enid; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; two sisters, Vera Boham of Alva and Barbara Wagner of Shawnee, KS; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
