A good glass cleaner, lint-free cloth, and some quality paper towels always seem to do the job nicely. BUT… elbow grease is also an essential element in a successful cleaning.

You’ve just got to get in there and scrub a little. And then, when you’re done, pull the vehicle into the sunlight and look at the glass again. Sometimes, it takes as many as 2 or 3 cleanings to get a glass (particularly a windshield) REALLY clean!

When choosing your glass cleaner, one might find that you need 2 separate cleaning solutions. For instance, 1-cleaner containing ammonia for the outside of the glass, and another “ammonia-free” cleaner for the tinted inside of the glass. (Ammonia deteriorates the window tint film.)
