A Celebration of Life Service for Camellia, “Cammie” Yvonne Kitzman, age 60 of Ames, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, in the Ames Baptist Church with Pastor Bill officiating.
Camellia was born April 15, 1963, in Canton, Ohio to Henry and Cheryl Baker Hershberger, and passed away Monday, December 18, 2023. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Camellia received her high school diploma.
She married Chris Kitzman on November 12, 2015, at Isabella, Oklahoma. For many years she was the owner and operator of new construction cleaning. She loved diamond dot art as a hobby. She loved putting jigsaw puzzles together and also played an online game called Junes Journey where she met friends and even became acquainted with a special friend Angela with whom she talked to often and had planned to meet someday. She loved her family, her grandchildren, many friends and her pets.
Camellia was preceded in death by her father, Henry Hershberger, and brothers; Benjamin Hershberger and Scotty Dye. She is survived by her husband Chris, mother, Cheryl, children; Michael McClure and Greg McClure of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma and Eric McClure of Amarillo, Texas, and a sister, Melissa Hershberger of Colorado, four grandchildren; Hannah, Benjamin, McKinzie and Brennan.
