Who's Up For A Buzzfest?

ENID, Okla. - Hey Buzz Heads! Seems like I've been speaking to a number of large groups again lately. Many organizations invite me to come talk about Enid Buzz and explain what it is and what I do. Up until now I haven't really had much of a definition or really thought about how to describe my business.

I guess it's now time to define some things around here so it will be easier for me to explain. What I want Enid Buzz to be is about providing the local community with as much useful information about events and happenings as possible. My slant is to look for anything positive that deals with entertainment, lifestyle, culture and the arts.

I do at times treat Enid Buzz as a journalistic media source by bringing you breaking news. The majority of the news I will bring will be neutral or positive. Only when it effects lives or specific groups of people will I bring you hard news reports. The Enid Buzz focus will stay on the positive.

I also feel like Enid Buzz is a great resource for businesses to get the word out about employees, new services, company changes and more. We provide affordable advertising that reaches large groups of consumers with valuable information from local businesses. We offer a valuable link between customers and great services.

I am now thinking that we have been around long enough that we need to bring all of our forces together into one big Buzzfest. I am currently defining what Buzzfest will be, but I know it will include music, food and art. I will be asking questions and from the feedback I receive from you all, we will put together an exciting event that everyone will enjoy.

I want this to be something new, fun and memorable so think outside the box on the specifics. Think of something so fun that residents from other cities will travel here just to be a part of it. If you have some ideas of what you would like to see at a Buzzfest, that you've maybe seen in other cities, please let me know. Give me feedback on the time of year as well.
