The celebration of life for Brent Wayne Hunter, 50 year-old Enid resident is 1:00PM Thursday, February 15, 2024 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Mark Blakeman, Tommy Donaldson, and Bill Smith officiating. A private burial will follow at a later date in Waukomis Cemetery.
Brent was born on his Grandpa's Miller's 50th birthday, December 12, 1973 to Phillip Hunter and Cheryl (Miller) Hunter and died unexpectedly on February 5, 2024 in Enid. He made lots of happy memories with his grandparents, Monte and Ruby lee Hunter and Alden and Norma Ruth Miller.
He attended Chisholm Schools and Autry Vo-Tech. He was presently employed at Jumbo Foods. Brent was fun-loving. He loved to be around his cousins and friends; he had a passion for old movies and enjoyed collecting old vinyl albums. But the greatest joy in his life was his daughter Madilyn.
He is survived by his daughter Madilyn Sue Hunter, Mother and step-father, Cheryl and Don Dennis, Father and step-mother, Philip and Marilyn Hunter. Grandmother, Norma Ruth Miller, and siblings; Riley and Courtney Dennis ,Dawna Dennis Capaldi and partner Ben Bloodworth, Monte Hunter, Justin Hunter, Gina and Robert Adams, and Mike Lorenz. He is also survived by his former wife Melody Williams Hunter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Because of Brent's love of animals, suggested memorial is to the Enid SPCA through Henninger-Hinson.
