Bobby Elvin Dykes was born October 3, 1928 to Ernest E Dykes and Zula Hall Dykes in Ninnekah, Oklahoma. He passed away peacefully February 4, 2019 at his home in Enid, OK. Bobby served in the Army Air Corp in 1946. He was stationed in Japan. October 1, 1955 he married MaryAnn Nichols. Bobby worked for OG&E for 35 years, retiring in 1987. After retiring, Bob and MaryAnn bought a farm where they enjoyed cattle, goats, and anything outdoors.

Bobby is survived by his wife MaryAnn Dykes of 63 years, son James R Dykes, granddaughters Amanda Dykes Coomes, and Tonia Dykes Hladik and husband Tim Hladik, great grandchildren Aubre, Austin, Ayden Rogers and Madelyn & Tristan Hladik, brother in law Charles Nichols, and sister in law Raelene Brown, several nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.
