Celebration of life services for Bill Reames, 72, Enid, will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Bud Laubaugh officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Bill was born on February 25, 1945 in Homestead, Oklahoma, the son of Roger and Edna Huston Reames, and passed away suddenly on November 2, 2017 in Enid. He was raised in the Homestead-Okeene-Isabella area, graduating from Okeene High School with the class of 1963. Bill earned his Eagle Scout. Bill attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He started his career with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company where he worked 18 years. Bill worked for Rite Way Construction for eleven years, later working as a truck driver for Advance Food Company.

He married Mary M. Owens in Enid on July 6, 2002. He built his 1955 Chevrolet from the ground up. Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, Nascar, Oklahoma State University Football, collected tools, Budweiser Beer Steins, and enjoyed his moonshine.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the residence; sons, Eric (Ellyssa) Reames of Alva, Bill (Jessica) Karnish of Enid, Carl (Donna) Karnish of Wetumpka, Alabama, Patrick (Kelsey) Karnish of Enid; daughter, Rebecca Karnish of Enid; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Bill was preceded in passing by his parents, daughter, Deana Reames, brother, Richard Reames.

The family has selected OMRF, Lung Cancer, as appropriate for memorial donations with the Stittsworth’s serving as custodian of the fund.
