A Celebration of Life Service for Billie E. Mickle age 93 of Enid will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 30, 2017 at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Emily Robnett officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Billie was born July 8, 1924 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to Admiral and Stella (Blake) Speights and passed away early Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Greenbrier Nursing Home. She grew up in the Red Oak Community and graduated from LeFore High School. Billie attended Eastern State University and later graduated from Southeastern State University with a teaching degree. She taught Jr High School in Lacey and retired from Hennessey Public Schools after several years. Billie married Billy Mickle in Arkansas. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Integris Bass Baptist, St. Mary’s Hospitals and RSVP.

Billie is survived by her daughter Liz Price and husband Kim of Enid, step sons; Billy and wife Fran Mickle of Durant and Mike and wife Karen Mickle of Bettendorf, IA; grandchildren, Wendi Price, Brett Price and wife Laura, step grandchildren; Matt Mickle and wife Raye, Kyle, Kate, and Matt Mickle, great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Coltier, Malone, and Wade, sister Ruth Hampton of Dallas, and several other family members.
Billie was preceded in death by her daughter Frances Dailey, step son Terry Mickle, Brother Richard Speight, and Sister Freda.
