Beulah Pauline Jenkins

Graveside service for Beulah Pauline Jenkins, age 101 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Rev. Pat Sutherlin and Rev. Daren Roten officiating. Visitation for the family and friends will be Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Beulah was born on July 15, 1915 in Drummond, to George Oliver and Goldie Mae (Akin) Wamsley, and passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017, in Enid.

Beulah grew up in and attended school in Drummond. On March 7, 1939, she married Everett Jenkins, and they made their home in Enid. She was a cook at the Henry House for over 15 years, until her retirement. Beulah was one of the first residents to move into Meadowpoint Apartments, where she played in kitchen band, and the residential council. She loved doing puzzles, word search, and enjoyed the Forgiven Quartet. Beulah was a member of the Church of the Covenant.

Beulah is survived by her daughters Linda Roten (Dempsey) of Capron, and Glenda Anderson (Gene) of Waukomis; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1967, her son Michael on April 20, 2012, 2 brothers, and her sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Church of the Covenant, or Hospice Circle of Love.
