A graveside service for Beulah Skinner, age 89, will be at 10:30 AM Friday, July 1, 2016, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Dusty Giles officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Beulah was born to George and Sarah (Drake) Disney on January 8, 1927 northeast of Covington, and passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her home in Enid.
Beulah grew up in Hallett, where she graduated high school. On March 30, 1945, she married Nathan Junior Skinner in Newkirk, and they made their home in Enid. Beulah worked as a clerk at Ed’s Grocery, Roy’s Supermarket, and Parrot’s Grocery. She was a Baptist, and enjoyed fishing, doll and frog collections, word search, and puzzles.
She is survived by her children: Joe Skinner and wife Charlene of Norman, Sandra Whitley and husband Calvin of Bison, Cathy Breitenkamp and husband Terry of Enid, and Shirley Creel and husband Eddie of Enid; five grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and six great, great-grandchildren.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Nathan, her parents, and seven sisters.
