Funeral service for Betty Luther, 78 of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ron Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5:30 to 6:30 at the funeral home.

Betty was born June 27, 1939 in Perryville, MO, to Harry Alford and Irene Mable (Francis) DeLano, and passed away on November 5, 2017 in Enid.

Betty raised 5 children. She was an active member in the Eastern Star and served and was a worthy Matron and District Deputy of the 38th District in 1976. She worked in the schools where she was a secretary for the PTA and worked with the DeMolays. She raced corvettes. Betty loved animals and being outside.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Luther; parents; and sister, Shirley.

Betty is survived by her 5 children, Daniel Fischer and wife Kathy of Warrenton, Donald Fischer of Warrenton, Ray Fischer, Jr. of Herrin, IL, Sandra and husband Ronald Foster of Enid, and Cara and husband John Murphy of FL; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Long of Matawan, NJ.
