The memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Betty Driskill, 72, of Enid will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 27, 2024, in the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church 1030 N. 12th Enid, Oklahoma with Kelly Collins Officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
She was born to Stephen and June Cassidy Carlile February 14, 1952, in Tulsa Oklahoma and passed from this life at her home in Enid surrounded by her family. She was raised in Tulsa and then moved to Tahlequah with her family, graduating from Tahlequah High school in 1970. She married the love of her life Steven Driskill December 31, 1972, in Tahlequah. Shortly after the wedding they moved to Bartlesville to start their family.
The couple then lived in Dewey and Altus before moving to Enid in 1985. Betty had a special heart for children and loved raising her children as a stay-at-home mom and working in the Davis Park Christian Church preschool for nearly 10 years. In 1998 the couple made their home between Enid and Canton where she served as a pastor’s wife for 19 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Steven Driskill, Sr., of the home, one daughter Amanda Driskill Hill and husband Bryan and one son Steve Driskill, II, of Fort Worth, Texas, two grandchildren, Emma Driskill and Drake Driskill and one great granddaughter, Neveah Rigg and one brother Ronnie and Barbara Carlile. She is also survived by her brother in-law Charles and Glenda M. Driskill, Sister in-law Glenda E. Driskill
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father in-law, sister in-law Linda Driskill Seaver, sister in-law Carla Driskill Collins, brother in-law Phillip Driskill, brother in-law Dalbert Collins, and brother in-law Alva Buster Seaver.
