Benedict (Benny) John Schwartz II was born on September 20th, 1954 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Jack and Shirley (Reisig) Schwartz. Benny grew up outside of Okeene, OK on the family farm with his parents and seven sisters. Benny married his wife Cindy Hays of 40 years on October 6th, 1979. Benny enjoyed farming with his dad and son-in-laws and also enjoyed doing small engine repairs. There really wasn’t anything he could not fix. Benny never knew a stranger and had many close friends throughout his lifetime. In 2018 Benny moved to Enid. He departed this life on September 3rd, 2020 surrounded by family at his home.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Jack and Shirley (Reisig) Schwartz; his in-laws Cameron and Joan Hays and two nieces Erica Rainwater and Rosemary Rauh.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Schwartz of Enid, OK; three daughters, Amie and husband Clyde Hood of Canton, OK, Amber and husband Tim Hinchey of OKC, OK, Audre’ Schwartz of Enid, OK, 8 grandchildren; Hailey Simmons and husband Duncan of Canton, OK, Hannah Hood and fiancee’ Gunner Gifford of Sapulpa, OK, Hopelin Hood of Canton, OK, Victoria and Phoenix Hinchey of OKC, OK, Liam, Kaistin and Amelia Leal of Enid, OK and 1 great grandson, Remington Simmons of Canton, OK.
Celebration of Life will be September 20th @ 2pm. Location: 132 Bible Church-OK-132 &E0610 Rd. Hennessey, OK 73742.
