The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating and honoring the life of Beatrice Hladik, 87, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 17, 2018 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hennessey. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday November 16, 2018 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born November 22, 1930 to Joseph J. and Anna Pacula Trojan on the Trojan Family Farm north west of Bison and passed from this life on November 14, 2018 in Enid.

She was raised and educated in Bison, attending St. Joseph Catholic School and then Hennessey High School. She married Henry Hladik on November 24, 1948 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison. She worked side by side with her husband farming and raising cattle. She raised chickens, milked the cows, sold the cream and had large gardens. She was a member of the Altar Society and always helped with the Bison Thanksgiving Dinner. She had a passion for genealogy and always enjoyed polka dancing.

She is survived by her sons; Dennis Hladik and wife Sandra, Gary Hladik and wife Ginger, daughter; Cheryl Kephart and husband Wayne, grandchildren; Joe and wife Jennifer, John and wife Courtney, Greg and wife Melissa, Jason and wife Emily, Rhonda Steveson and husband Joshua, and Brooke Kephart, great grandchildren, London, Cruz, Emery, Ethan, Ella, Lilia, Harlow, Piper, and Charlie, sister Doris Martini.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Hladik, infant son, Ronald Dean, and brother, Ernest Trojan.

Memorial in her name can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
